Meriem has been passionate about fitness from an early age. She began by playing competitively for the State College High School tennis team in Pennsylvania and carried on her love of sport throughout University in Canada where she played basketball, volleyball, ultimate frisbee, power lifting and competed in Dragon boat racing. Despite earning a Bachelor’s in Accounting and working as a Controller, her heart remained in Athletics. This passion propelled her to leave the Corporate number crunching behind and become a certified personal trainer!
Throughout her 8 years of strength training experience, she has learned the importance of proper form and technique for strength progression and injury prevention. Lifting weights, especially as a female, doesn’t have to be scary and intimidating if you do it correctly! She is driven to help clients gain confidence, master correct movement techniques and will push you to advance in every aspect of your fitness pursuits.
